EXHIBITION in COPENHAGEN
The Argos Collective is in Copenhagen for the United Nations' 15th climate change conference :
From 8th to 18th December
Exhibition: Climate change(s) / people's stories
Giant canvases juxtaposing images, texts and witness accounts are displayed in the Kongens Nytorv Square on the French Embassy building, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - Charlottenborg Kunsthalle and the European Environment Agency (EEA). Commissioned by the French Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development (MESD), the exhibition was conceived by the Argos Collective in collaboration with the graphics agency Ruedi Baur and the stage designer Pierre Combe with the support from the MESD, the ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency) and the French Embassy in Denmark.
The exhibition continues with more photos and texts inside the EEA.
In Kongens Nytorv Square, on the 8th December at 5 o'clock, the vertical dancer Antoine le Ménestrel and his company the Lézards Bleus will give a show on the theme of the exhibition Climate change(s) / people's stories.
Publications
- 20 initiatives for building a better tomorrow. The Argos Collective makes a contribution to the book published by the ADEME and the MESD and illustrates the 'good methods' set up in France with seven spheres of action necessary for protecting the climate. It will be distributed during the conference.
- The New Waver, the journal in English from the publishers Autrement is publishing six pages on the work of the Argos Collective. Available in Copenhagen.
